An environmental education center located on the Merrimack River housing an interactive exhibit hall in which visitors can view live turtles, frogs and salmon. They offer a variety of programs for all ages. 


Audobon Society

Audubon Way, Auburn, 603-668-2045

A non-profit, statewide membership organization dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and habitat throughout the state. They offer camps, programs, and field trips, and have many centers and sanctuaries throughout the state.

 

Canobie Lake Park

85 N. Policy Street, Salem, NH, 603-893-3506

An amusement park with more than 85 rides, games, live entertainment, and attractions. Great for older children, but they have a kiddie ride area, too.


Charmingfare Farm

774 High Street, Candia, 603-483-5623

Charmingfare Farm is home to many farm animals, including cows and goats, as well as wild animals, such as wolves, lynx, etc. They also have a discovery barn with a hands-on petting area and a covered picnic area. 
 

Water Country

Route 1, Portsmouth, NH

A water park with something for everyone; thrill-seekers are challenged by the breaking waves and speed slides; loungers can relax in the sanctuary of Adventure River, swimming pools, and shady lounge areas. Four areas especially for the youngsters ensure that smaller children get to slide and splash, too!


York Wild Kingdom

An amusement park and zoo housing a hundred types of birds, pigs, bears, black swans, lynx, llamas, etc. They also have paddle boats, a miniature golf course, picnic grounds, and a haunted house.
